Image Of The New Model Honda Hit The Net
Some Western media have published patent images of the new model from Honda that suggest almost unequivocal conclusion: the compact hatchback Jazz/Fit is the new generation will soon be a "family" version of the Shuttle in the guise of spacious MPV.
Judging by the pictures published by the portal Worldcarfans, the new version of Shuttle does not differ from the Jazz hatchback design of the front end, but it has a long wheelbase, large Luggage compartment and individual design "poop".
According to the source, the car will be larger than its predecessor, but the greatest interest is the gamma motor: its backbone will be the same unit as that of the Fit hatchback, that is a 1.5-liter gasoline engine rated at 130 HP and is paired with a CVT or a six-speed manual transmission. However, in addition to the motor, the Shuttle will get a hybrid version, borrowed probably from the platform model Grace. This compact sedan that is sold in the Japanese market, is equipped with a 110-horsepower engine and a 29-horsepower electric motor. This powerplant is paired with a seven-speed robotized gearbox. In addition, it is possible the appearance of the version with all-wheel drive.
Sales of the new Honda Shuttle should start closer to the end of 2015.
