The automobile company known as Ikco of a ball is founded in Iran in 1962. This firm till 1980 carried the name Irannational. In the beginning Ikco made cars and buses according to the technical documentation of the large German company Mercedes-Benz. So, in the seventies and the eightieth years of Ikco gives help to the elder brother of Mercedes-Benz, making minibuses. In the ninetieth years the car bearing other name - Peugeot descended from the conveyor. And in 1997 Ikco masters release of the new Peugeot model – an automobile car 1600 RD, and 405 Station are made a year later.
At the beginning of a new century the new bus plant having settlement power - five and a half thousand cars in a year is put into commercial operation. The same year Ikco receives the new name – now it is called, as Iran Khodro Diesel Company. Now the company releases the minibuses Hyundai supplied with conditioners, and also vans of Benz MB140 and the Sprinter model.
